Eastern Resins Spectrum Decorative Coatings are the original colored epoxies developed as a replacement for hard fired enamels. Spectrum Coatings are brilliant, two part epoxy resins systems available in clear, opaque and translucent colors as well as variety of effects such as pearlescent, phosphorescent, and metallic. Low viscosity systems are available for decorating flat items. High viscosity or “thixotropic” systems are formulated for coating curved or highly domed parts.

SPECTRUM 700 SERIES RESIN
The Eastern Resins 700 Series are clear epoxy resins used as a decorative/protective coating over a variety of substrates or for the production of clear castings. These resins are formulated to provide excellent air release and when cured result in a glass-like, blemish free film.

ERD-700 is a medium viscosity, general purpose coating material suitable for use on flat surfaces both with or without a retaining wall.

ERD-700M is a lower viscosity version of ERD-700, providing improved air release and flowability. It is available in a number of different viscosities allowing for specific application requirements. This coating is ideal for parts with intricate detail.

ERD-700T is a higher viscosity version of ERD-700 designed for applications requiring a coating that will non run on curved surfaces. It is available in a number of viscosities ranging from slightly flowable to a thixotropic paste. Do to the cloudy appearance of this material it is normally combined with colorants.

ERD-702 is a low viscosity coating resin used for applications requiring maximumclarity.

ERD-710 is a medium viscosity epoxy resin specifically designed for “doming” a wide variety of jewelry and ad specialty items such decals, nameplates, etc. When cured ERD-710 forms a hard, crystal clear, protective bubble over any substrate.

ERD-716 is a flexible “doming” resin that cures to form a durable and scratch resistant yet ductile coating.

ERD-721 is a low viscosity resin specially formulated for casting parts. It is typically used to cast imitation gemstones in silicone rubber molds.

EASTERN RESINS SPECTRUM 800 SERIES
The Eastern Resins Spectrum 800 series are colored epoxy resins used as decorative coatings over a variety of substrates or for the production of castings. These resins are available in opaque or transparent colors as well as pearlescent, phosphorescent and metallic finishes. Color choice is infinite as both standard and custom colors can be ordered.

ERD-800 is a medium viscosity, general purpose decorative coating material suitable for use on flat surfaces. It is available in both opaque and translucent versions.

ERD-800M is a lower viscosity version of ER-800, providing improved air release and flowability. It is available in a number of different viscosities allowing for specificapplication requirements. This coating is ideal for parts with intricate detail.

ERD-800T is a higher viscosity version of ERD-800 designed for applications requiring a coating that will not run on curved surfaces. It is available in a number of viscosities ranging from slightly flowable to a thixotropic paste.

ERD-821 is a low viscosity resin designed for open mold casting applications. After curing this material may be ground and then polished in order to bring back the resin’s original high gloss finish.

ERD-830 is a medium viscosity, general purpose decorative coating material suitable for use on flat surfaces. It is available in an infinite array of colors with pearlescent finishes.

ERD-850 is a high viscosity, general purpose decorative coating material formulated to simulate a metallic finish. It is available in gold, silver, bronze, copper, aluminum and specialty colors.
